This product is compatible with iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, iPod Touch 4, and other mobile devises with an external speaker. The head speaker uses a technique called LISS - Lava Induction Sound System; the speaker analyzes the magnet fields that is being generated byt the internal sound system in your smart phone. These are then being amplified up to a special algorithm. The result is a powerful and dynamic sound. 

No configurations or other settings are needed. It is also possible to connect the device to the speaker via the included cable.
